So as everyone knows, swine flu started in Mexico, and has moved it’s way into the United States, and has attacked us. Since I live in Texas, it’s already hitting us. I found out recently that my best friend has swine flu.. I called him during lunch, and it turns out that he has Swine.. So I’m pretty freaked out about him, and everyone else.. I came into contact with him, when he was here, and I think I might get it now.. Ughhh…

What’s up with all the animal flu’s lately? Bird Flu, then Swine flu? Wtf? What’s next, Dog Flu?

Whatever, there’s a vaccine for it, and I should be all right, if I come down with it and get to the doctor fast enough.. I just hope my friend does alright..

So finals are, like most know, the ending test with everything you’ve learned, and if you don’t pass, you will probably be in said grade again (EG: 9,10,11,12). Well in Texas, not only do you have Finals, but you have a thing called TAKS. It’s quite like CAT’s, or SAT’s, or what ever your big state required tests are, but if you don’t pass TAKS, you fail, and they put you in a said lab class. (EG: Algebra Lab, IPC Lab, Bioligy Lab, etc etc.) With that aside, do these fuckers know how much stress this puts on a kid? I have to take my Algebra TAKS Thursday, and math is most definitely NOT my strong point. Not to mention the math TAKS test’s are ALWAYS the hardest!

Now this isn’t ONLY high school, it’s middle school, and ELEM.
What the hell is that? Making little kids take TAKS!
I mean sure, it’s just stuff like 5X3, but that’s not the point.

TAKS just gets on my nerves, and it add’s SOOOOO much stress.

You wanna correct me?! GO RIGHT AHEAD!! USUALLY about 36% of blacks vote every year. THIS YEAR, THE PERCENTAGE WENT UP TO 93%, ALL OF WHICH WHO VOTED OBAMA. The other 7% who looked PAST his being black, vote McCain. Now not all of the 97% blacks voted Obama for his being black, they did it because of his views and his ‘what I promise to get done’..s. BUT NONETHELESS, MOST OF THE 93% If not close to ALL, VOTED OBAMA BECAUSE OF HIS BEING BLACK. I find this VERY immature, and very racist on all of the black’s account. This really pisses me off, since white’s are slandered EVERYDAY of being racist.

The Zombie game is a rochambeau (rock, paper, scissors) style game with three ghost modes representing the classic weapons. In rock, paper, scissors, battles work as follows:

• Rock beats (crushes) Scissors
• Paper beats (covers) Rock
• Scissors beats (cuts) Paper

In the Zombie Game, the three ghost modes are: smoke, blue, and black (black is affectionately known as “ipod”) and the battle works as follows:

• Black beats Smoke
• Smoke beats Blue
• Blue beats Black

How are you supposed to remember that? We don’t know

The goal is win as many ro-sham-bo battles as you can and gain the most number of points by 6:00 PM Pacific time on Friday, October 24th!

Zombie Game Start

When the Zombie Game is enabled, lightning will strike every few minutes. On a lightning strike, there is a 50% chance that a new game will start (and the previous game will end)

Upon game start, your points for the previous game and your total points for the day will be displayed in a personal system message.

vSiders’ heads will spin around for a few seconds and HALF of the bots will be randomly infected in one of the three modes:

Zombie Game Play

Once your head stops spinning, the battles begin. It works like this:

• If you get close to a ghost and you are not a ghost, you turn into that type of ghost — you don’t get or lose any points for this
• If you are already a ghost and you turn someone else who is not a ghost into a ghost by touching them you get one point
• If you are a ghost and you touch another ghost then it is a ro-sham-bo game based on the ghost type

Scoring per ro-sham-bo is as follows:

• The loser loses one point
• The winner gets ALL THE CURRENT GAME points that the loser had or 3 points whichever is greater.
• Example: If you had 20 points this game, and I win the ro-sham-bo, then I get 20 points, and you now have 0 points
• Example: If you had 1 point this game and I win, then I get 3 points and you now have 0 points
• Example: If you have 0 or fewer points this game and I win, I still get 3 points, but you lose 1 point — so if you had -1 and you lost, then you would have -2 points

Scenario 1

john sees lizzy the bot is a blue ghost:

john touchs lizzy to infect himself
john sees that eviljg is not infected so john can get 1 point by touching eviljg

john gets the point!

Scenario 2

john is a smoke ghost

john touches eviljg which is silly because “black beats smoke”; eviljg wins the ro sham bo and gets 3 point; john loses a point

Additional info:

• Everyone starts each round with zero points.
• You don’t lose any of your overall points, just your points from each round.
• Your overall points are then modified by your points in each round. If you end with a negative amount of points in a round, you lose those same points from your overall score.
• During the game your current round points are shown above your head; these are not your total points.
• If you want to take a break from the game and then come back, you will keep your total point score.
• The bots will be moved around a bit, to make things interesting.
• 100,000 vPoints will be shared among the highest scoring vSiders!

Anyhow, you get it. Normally, the games are in NV, and 2-3 days long. This year it was..-drumroll-

ONLY 2 HOURS?!?!?!

That’s right, you heard me straight down! Holy mother of shacklenuts, how are you supposed to be able to gain tons of points with only two hours?! Also, what about our foreigners? Care to think about them? Well, this entire ordeal endured controversy, though not until after. Some vSiders reported they just logged off, due to the fact that it was hosted in LGA, the sole place that has the worst hiding spots imaginable. I mean, come on, anybody can jump on a ledge and tag you! Say whaaaaaa..? Yeah, that’s right, vSide sucked to the suck. Sorry if I’m not making legible sense. These Zombie Games, sadly, were the worst things I’ve ever seen.

Obviously your interested in this article. Good, you probably need to be. Now, as we all know, Beta 7 is coming out very soon. Maybe a tinch of schedule, but nothing they can do. Anyways, Alpha opened Saturday, and bug reporting opened Monday. First day of Bug reporting-5 full pages. No lie guys, this ones full of it. But, they’re closing bug reporting TOMORROW! Honestly, do you think that’s enough time? I for one don’t, and if you do, well that’s not my opinion, yours . Anyways, if you’ve seen what else is happening, you’ll agree. Some of the best bug reporters I know have been removed for various reasons. Other reasons that I will not speak of have brought vSide further and further down the drain. The weight of vSide potentially is on the shoulders of john, lizd, etc. If one more of these important staffers leave, trust me, you’ll see the biggest fail(and I’m not exagerrating). As I will do if Obama becomes president, get chur shotguns ready! We have a longgg road ahead of us(I don’t mean killing them >.<), and if this stuff doesn’t get fixed, we’re in for a ride of our life(something out of that movie that I can’t recall at this moment(where they defeat death?)).

Anyways, this was a rather short post, but OH well!

Obama has not enough experience, I was very surprised when he wo the nominee! Then again, he “promises” to bring the troops home, so he has a very high possibility of winning. Then again, McCain could easily bring up all the times Obama screwed up in just for the fight of the Dem. nominee, such as the whole Rev. ordeal. (plus more taxes means less cool stuff for me :’( ) But I have a gut feeling he’ll win because:
1. Against war, most Americans are sick of this war against terror,
2. He’s young. most Americans got a thing for the younger one with “Change we can Believe In”
3. He’s extremely popular, a new face in government. Who was Obama a couple years ago? A no one. No one had heard of him unless you live in Illinois.
I think McCain is better because:
1. We’re in a middle of a war. He knows wars like the back of his hand.
2. We know he will put this country first. It’s a given. He’s served for how many years?
3. He’ll help the deny bills that increase taxes.
4. He’s old yeah, but he’s got more experience in his pinky than Obama. Besides, whoever his VP is, (if, he becomes President, and he dies,) will be someone we can trust, because he’s no idiot that will pick someone who couldn’t handle the job.

I used to like Barack Obama. I thought he seemed like a pretty good guy. But after this past week I can no longer give him my vote. I mean did you see how the media treated him? It’s like they’re in love with him! And I don’t know about you, but someone who provokes intense feelings of love and obsession from a large, diverse, and intelligent group of people is not someone who I can get behind. So..lets start from right..here. GUIDE Apps opened! Everyone was like “OMG!11 ME IZ GHUNAN APPLI”. So, even though most of these people were under 6 months, they still applied. Everyone that applied(including myself) waited silently in our vigil, our quest, our..coffee break? Anyways, shortly thereafter, I ventured out into New Venezia, after making my hourly rounds of ‘Need Help?’ yells, to begin there. And what do you know? Spam bots, hundreds of them. They were dressed pretty elegant, and boy was I in love with one of them (EDIT: That turned out to be terri). Anyways, it was a hard quest for moderator4 to seek out every one of these spam bots. The chat bubbles were flooded with notorious ‘rdfxhurhfjhgsd’, and I thought I was going to be sucked into a vortex from all the spam. I survived, luckily, and am still here today. The VERY next day, something incredible happened, something none of us foreseen or thought could ever happened. PROJECT A, run by the wonderful Ivy, were opening applications, for Editors, Photographers, and Writers.  Of course I applied, because I couldn’t miss out on THIS activity. Anyway, we had to type an application on stuff that frankly, I don’t feel like explaining, so don’t ask! Big Brother/Big Sister applications were also open, and closed as well..

Speeding it up..I was alerted on September 26th that I made the editing team for vBuzz! I was as happy as a nut, and flew full-speed to the site and begin editing like nobodies business. I was alerted the VERY next day that I also made Big Brother (!). I love my Lil’ Bro BJ_Fresh(Jose) very much . So..the rest of the days flew by, with the regular Carly stuff, the bugs, and suddenly, I was alerted P.I.C. GoOn was removed from Alpha, because someone that faked his s/n got banned. I was EXTREMELY unhappy, and still am, to this day. Then WHAM! Guide results come out, and what do you know? It has 26 people! Indeed, I wasn’t one on there, probably because I didn’t space out my paragraphs *smacks head*. Anyways, after a quick scroll-through, I noticed something sinister. Most of these people that applied were actually UNDER 6 months, with ONE of these people a WALLIFLOWER! I’m kinda surprised, but jic left DG, so you can’t really expect anything better. Alpha and everything else, now that jicster has left, are the biggest flops I’ve ever seen, including my belly flop where I didn’t actually jump off the diving board. I don’t realize, and forgive me for saying this, but why in the HELL would you launch a release that could be as big as Beta 3 without an Alpha. Yeah, some dudes probably going to come up here and say ” ALPHA WILL BVE LAUNCHED S00N!”. Sure, but that would mean taking Beta 7 off schedule, and that creates this following equation(Careful kids, hope you can understand)

Beta 7 off schedule= unhappy vSiders+riots+something+DG losing money+spammed forums with threads labeled ”WHERWES BETA 7?!?#”. Yeah, doesn’t sound too good. To be honest, I’ve never seen vSide so disorganized. It seems to me jic was the man that took care of a TON of things. Now, they’re all screwed up..

So, to sum things up, if vSide keeps going like this, we could see a vDepression/vReccesion
